Parsons Corporation Project Director in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Director to lead and manage the full lifecycle of major infrastructure buildings projects. In this role, you will provide strategic leadership across planning, design, procurement, construction, and handover phases. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, ensuring client satisfaction and operational excellence.
What You'll Be Doing:
Provide overall leadership and direction for all project phases, ensuring alignment with client objectives and company goals.
Define project goals, establish key performance indicators (KPIs), and develop strategies to achieve success.
Act as the primary representative of the company, maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and contractors.
Oversee the integration of design, procurement, and construction teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
Manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules while identifying and mitigating risks.
Ensure compliance with all legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Lead contract negotiation, administration, and performance monitoring for all consultants and contractors.
Foster effective communication among all stakeholders, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts promptly.
Represent the company in negotiations with authorities and in public forums as required.
Mobilize and manage multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring effective resource allocation and team performance.
Provide mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback to team members to foster professional development.
Cultivate a collaborative and accountable work environment that promotes innovation and high-quality outcomes.
Prepare and present detailed project reports and updates to senior management and clients.
Oversee the preparation of key project documents, including project management plans, safety plans, and quality control plans.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (essential).
Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline (preferred).
Professional certifications such as Chartered Engineer (CEng), PMP, or equivalent (preferred).
Minimum of 20 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure or building projects, including at least 10 years in senior management roles.
Proven track record of delivering complex, high-value projects successfully.
Strong expertise in managing multidisciplinary teams and client-facing responsibilities.
