Actalent Civil Engineer in Riverside, Connecticut
A well established Land Planning, Land Surveying and Site Engineering firm seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineer to join our team! Our Civil Engineers work on a wide cross-section of projects ranging from single-family development projects to multi-family conservation developments, apartment complexes, commercial developments and local municipal projects. Providing stormwater management designs and site designs, work closely with architects, landscape architects, environmentalists, and developers of all capacities. Other areas of our firm’s expertise include river backwater modeling, and site design within FEMA designated coastal and riverine floodways and floodplains.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Site design projects that requires
Drainage management designs
Septic design
Site grading
Preparation of a variety of local municipal applications
Road design and storm sewer design
Requirements:
Bachelors in Civil Engineering from an accredited engineering school
Experience with AutoCAD as well as other industry standard software
EIT certification preferred
P.E. License a plus but not required
