Position: Shipping Operator (M-F 7am-3:30pm)

Position Description

The Shipping Operator will manage and coordinate the inventory warehouse and shipping process. The qualified candidate will manage the drum inventory on site, and inbound/outbound shipments received from our suppliers, offices and agencies and assist to package/containerize to ship within the US.


  • Drive continuous improvement in the shipping department

  • Maintain the export process to ensure orders, containers are filled correctly and timely.

  • Ensure required documentation, palletization and loads are in accordance with U.S. regulations.

  • Certify and complies with Dangerous goods regulations and audits

  • Ensure and inspect check of received containers (seals, content, condition)

  • Acquires and arranges the outbound loads via forklift in preparation of the day’s loads.

  • Conducts raw material and finish goods cycle counts to maintain plant inventory accuracy and transactional health.

  • Arranges the drum stock (raw material and finished good) of the facility into an organized arrangement.

  • Manages the FIFO program through placement of raw materials and finished goods.

  • Arranges and signs off on the Hazardous Waste pick up for the facility.


  • A High School Diploma/GED is required.

  • Must possess some computer skills using MS-Word, MS-Excel and MS-Outlook.

  • The ideal candidate will have at least two (2) years of experience working in warehouse logistics, shipping and proven leadership skills.

  • Ability to drive a forklift

  • Knowledge of DOT regulations preferred

  • The ideal candidate will need to also possess:

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-up skills

  • Be able to quickly adapt and learn new skills
