Franklin Pierce University Assistant Professor of Marketing in Rindge, New Hampshire

Job Summary:

As a faculty member, you will work closely with the College Dean and fellow faculty members to teach, advise, and mentor students within the Marketing program. Your leadership and commitment to active learning will help guide students toward their professional development and successful graduation. Your role will also include assessing learning outcomes, contributing to program development, and supporting students in their career readiness.

In addition to teaching, you will be an integral part of the College and University community, participating in events, committees, and activities that enhance the academic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach business and general education courses, fostering an engaging and dynamic learning environment.

  • Advise and mentor students, providing guidance on academic and professional growth.

  • Supervise independent studies, theses, and internships, when appropriate.

  • Contribute to the ongoing assessment of learning outcomes and continually improve course delivery.

  • Engage in institutional service and participate in university-wide committees.

  • Maintain familiarity with current marketing texts, materials, and teaching methodologies to stay at the forefront of industry trends.

  • Lead research initiatives and contribute to scholarly work within the field of marketing.

    Skills and Qualifications:

  • A degree in Marketing or a closely related field is required.

  • Evidence of professional experience in marketing or marketing administration is preferred.

  • Strong background in outreach and relationship-building with external constituents, such as industry partners and organizations.

  • Research experience or relevant marketing certification, with a proven track record of teaching and scholarly work, is highly desirable.

  • Demonstrated ability to teach effectively in both face-to-face and online formats.

  • A passion for working with diverse student and faculty populations, fostering an inclusive academic environment.

  • Ability to engage in service to the College and University, with an ongoing commitment to scholarly and creative work.
