**[Job Summary:

[As a welder at Sewon America Inc. you will be responsible for fusing pieces of metal together to join metal parts, fill a hole, or fix seams in metal. Their duties include finding the correct tools to properly ignite the torch and welding machine for the specific type of metal, positioning, lining up, and securing all metal pieces according to design specifications prior to welding, and joining these pieces together.

  1. Welding Operations: Perform various types of welding, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding, to assemble and fabricate components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Ensure the proper set up and operation of welding equipment for each task. Conduct inspections of welded joints to identify and address any defects
  2. Quality Assurance: Adhere to strict quality control standards to meet or exceed industry and company specifications. Perform visual inspections of completed welds and make necessary adjustments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  3. Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Participate in safety meetings and contribute to the development of a culture of safety awareness.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, engineers, and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects. Communicate effectively to address any issues or concerns related to welding tasks.
  5. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the maintenance team for prompt resolution

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Welding Certification.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience as welder in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Proficient in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of safety guideline and procedures in welding.
