Alpine Bank Loan Maintenance Clerk I in Rifle, Colorado

General Purpose The Loan Maintenance Clerk I is the entry level position in the Loan Maintenance Clerk series. The Loan Maintenance Clerk I, with close supervision, is responsible for monitoring various reports and assists the front line with error resolution and automatic payment setup by completing the necessary maintenance to the loan system. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Monitors the Loan Maintenance electronic mail inbox for Automated Clearing House (ACH) and Automated Funds Transfer (AFT) payments and sets them up in Xperience/Silverlake, processes loan payoff requests and works through resolutions to identify errors and completes the necessary maintenance to correct the loan system. * Completes Account Verifications upon receipt and proper authorization from customer. * Accountable for complying with all Bank regulations, policies and procedures. * Answers calls concerning loan information. * Assists with special projects as assigned and/or as time allows. * Performs other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Ability: * Knowledge of the entire Alpine Bank loan process, compliance and approval requirements. * Background knowledge of bookkeeping and General Ledger. * Strong detail orientation, multi-tasking skills, and organizational skills enabling the individual to work accurately at a fast pace. * Proficiency in computer applications such as Xperience/Silverlake and basic use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Pro. * Ability to communicate information in a clear and concise manner to be able to work closely with front line staff, Lending Officers and Title Companies. * Skill and ability to respond promptly to customer needs. * Understanding and application of banking compliance regulations. * Understands the importance of and the ability to maintain confidential information. Education or Formal Training: * High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) equivalent required. * Additional college classes in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, or similar, preferred. Experience: * A minimum of two (2) years working as a bookkeeper using the General Ledger; or in a Loan Administration, Credit Analyst or Loan Maintenance department at a financial institution. * An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year to year basis. Working Conditions Working Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Activities: These are representative of those which must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required; it would require the ability to reach for and lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
