The Warehouse Manager is responsible to ensure operational excellence in the warehouse and shipping operations by providing leadership to the Team Leads and employees. The Warehouse Manager is responsible to develop and implement all policies, procedures, systems and drive improvements in best practices with regard to warehouse and shipping operations: Receiving, Put Away, Pick, Delivery to Assembly, Shipping pick/pack, stage and delivery.

What You Will Be Doing

Departmental Responsibilities

-Ensure inventory accuracy at all times including cycle count and audit programs

-Ensure on time delivery to assembly and customers.

-Research and analyze inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions

-Research and analyze shipping claims and implement corrective actions

-Analyze the root causes requiring manual inventory transactions, address root causes leading to significant reduction of manual inventory transactions.

-Ensure warehouse and shipping staff has received appropriate training for all job responsibilities

-Analyzing cycle count adjustments and manual inventory transactions daily

-Monitor workflow, work completed, error rates and related metrics and take appropriate action when required.

Safety Responsibilities

-Contribute to maintaining a workplace free from serious recognized hazards and comply with standards, rules, regulations, and policies regarding safety

-Report any workplace conditions that appear dangerous or potentially hazardous.

-Follow the proper procedures for the safe use of tools and equipment associated with the employees' position and properly maintain this equipment.

-Immediately report any workplace injury or illness to your manager and Human Resources.

-Attend all required Safety related training and or communication sessions. Continuous Improvement Responsibilities: Accept continuous improvement as a "VALUE" of the organization and be responsible for identifying gaps and inefficiencies and suggest where improvements can take place. Create and support and environment of continuous learning among all employees and contribute to an atmosphere of people care, dignity, positivity, and inspiration.

Secondary Responsibilities:

-Assist with inventory accuracy

-Assist with Kanban setup and operations

What You Need for this Position

-Good verbal communications skills - be able to communicate effectively throughout all levels of organizational stall.

-Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or related field.

-Five to ten years' experience of proven supervisory experience with 5 years or more of experience and/or training in inventory management, warehouse logistics, and shipping/receiving or equivalent combination of education and experience with management of warehouse staff in a distribution environment.

-Enhanced knowledge of WMS and ERP systems.

-Knowledge of warehouse operations best practices.

-Advanced supervisory, communication, and organization skills.

-Working knowledge of WMS systems

-High proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

-Good Analytical ability

-Working knowledge of MRP, BOM's and operational processes

-Apics certification a plus. (CPIM/CSPC preferred)
