Aerotek Rework Technician in Ridgeville, South Carolina
Aerotek is hiring for a premier manufacturer in Ridgeville, SC for Rework Mechanic Technicians paying $31.50/hr on 1st shift (6am-2:40pm M-F) or $33.25/hr on 2nd shift (3:40pm - 12am M-F). Will pay for relocation for any candidate out of town. All positions will be direct placement!!
Looking for candidates with great mechanic diagnostic understanding and/or ASE Certification. The position will be looking over vehicles that were just manufactured and fixing issues. These vehicles will be primarily all electric so electrical diagnostic skills are preferred.

Job Description:
Ability to troubleshoot and repair vehicles after assembly
Familiarity with hand tools and repair processes
Experience with ATACQ and Volvo QPS
Ability to communicate with other team members and share knowledge of issues that have been found or need to be repaired
Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use
Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job
Keep logs on work and issues
Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
