Summary:

The main function of a product specialist is to be the subject matter expert on a product through its development. The typical product specialist will provide technical advice to customers concerning their product

Job Responsibilities:

� Demonstrates the value of a product technology to advance customer's objectives

� Provides insight and thought leadership to customers concerning applicability of highly complex products

� Analyzes and applies industry, competition and market knowledge to present the positive value of our solutions.

� Recommends product and service configurations to assist with any system design and integration necessary

� Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute

� Ensure product quality expectations are defined and known across the team

Skills:

� Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

� Ability to work independently and manage one's time.

� Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

� Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.

Education/Experience:

� Bachelor's degree in a related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.

� 2-4 years experience required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:

Role and Responsibilities:

• Manage: The Category Specialist will support the general manager of the DTC business for these HE products. You will work with cross-functional teams on areas such as forecasting, demand generation, merchandising, marketing, customer experience, finance, fulfillment,

P&L management, post-sale service, Omni Channel execution, and more.

• Build: Help build a best-in-class digital experience focused on an end-to-end shopping journey focused on the customer, brand, and product. Build and execute GTM strategy working with stakeholders from product management and engineering.

• Optimize: Synthesize data into meaningful insights to 1- enable consistent and timely decisions to help grow the business. 2- Optimize for conversion from product discovery throughout the journey ending with delivery. 3- Identify areas of improvement opportunities and

drive operational efficiencies.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in Business Management experience for Technology, Consumer Products, and/or Consumer Electronics.

• Extensive experience implementing category strategy in direct-to-consumer eCommerce.

• Knowledge and passion for direct-to-consumer eCommerce business practices and operations. Digital UI/UX enhancements experience a plus.

• Ability to facilitate cross-functional teams and navigate matrixed organizations in a global setting.

• Strong analytical, data-driven problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and deadlines on multiple initiatives with competing priorities, cutting through noise and focusing on the business impact.

• Entrepreneurial spirit and excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

• Experience with Tableau, Confluence, SQL preferred

• College degree required; MBA a plus.
