Please review the following job description:
Deliver highly complex solutions with significant system linkages and dependencies and associated risk.
Lead and perform development efforts such as analysis, design, coding/creating, and testing.
Formulate and define systems scope and objectives for complex business systems based on industry best practices and IT objectives.
Development duties include customized coding, software integration, analysis, and solution configuration, using various technologies.
Act as the liaison among the stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, communicate and validate business and system requirements using industry leading practices within the business analyst profession
Ensure all requirements are fulfilled by the technical design. Review the test plan, test cases and test scripts ensuring traceability to all requirements.
Apply industry best practices to improve current practices. Develop recommendations to improve processes or techniques.
Determine the overall requirements gathering strategy and plan the requirements phase of the project including the work division strategy among the project BAs.
Manage progress and quality of requirements gathering activities and adjust the plan as necessary.
Plan the risk response strategy to be used in monitoring and controlling all identified risks throughout the requirements process.
Lead moderately complex projects and participates in larger, more complex initiatives.
Solves complex technical and operational problems.
Acts as a resource for teammates with less experience. People management responsibilities for a small team.
Must have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IS, or related technical field.
Must have 2 years of experience in software engineering or development positions performing/utilizing the following:
Broad functional knowledge in defining technology requirements.
Interpreting internal and external business challenges and implementing best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
Leading technology projects of moderate complexity.
Leading or managing teams.
Applying Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
Using Rally, VersionOne and TFS tools to track the user stories and bugs.
Performing requirement tracking responsibilities on HP QC/ALM tool.
Utilizing experience with:
Data mining, working on DB2 and SQL databases
Automation testing using UFT and Selenium tools
Web service testing using Soap UI tool
Testing PEGA solutions
Building and maintaining Product Back log using various tools
