Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Manager of Contract Manufacturing Manager to support a global specialty pharmaceutical company in the Richmond, VA area. This individual will be responsible for the oversight of external manufacturing/packaging activities and day-to-day business management of assigned Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) relationships with accountability for ensuring supply of product to patients on-time and for driving continuous improvement in risk, performance, quality and total cost. Questions individuals will need to answer:
Have you managed commercial production?
How do you monitor performance of the CMOs?
Have you negotiated commercial contracts?

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences
10 years experience within the pharmaceutical industry in the areas of: manufacturing, quality, logistics, or manufacturing management
5 years managing 3rd party suppliers
2 years of negotiating commercial contracts - Master's Degree in Life Sciences
Professional certification in Lean Sigma, Project Management, or related areas
Currently working or previously worked at companies like: Bristol Myers Squibb, Astrazeneca, GSK, Gilead Sciences, and Pfizer
Strong negotiation abilities null
