Adecco US, Inc. Pre-Release Therapist in Richmond, Virginia

We are currently seeking a full-time Pre-Release Therapist in Richmond, VA f or our new center that provides support and assistance to incarcerated individuals from pre-release to post-release with our proven program to help them succeed. Job Duties:

  • Conducting impactful group sessions with participants within a correctional facility

  • Preparing for sessions in advance to maximize effectiveness of interactions?

  • Evaluating participant progress and support needed?

  • Upholding the quality and fidelity of Re-entry Model curriculum when delivering group sessions

  • Building a bond of trust with participants to ensure smooth transition to post-release services

  • Documenting sessions in electronic record system, including noteworthy participant interactions

  • When working within a correctional center, building strong, professional, positive relationships with prison staff and administration

  • Participating in internal meetings (Behavioral Health and Wellness team meetings, All Team meetings, 1:1 supervisor meetings, and training sessions)?

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in counseling, social work, behavioral health, or related field?

  • Independent clinical license

  • 3-5 years of experience working in mental health and substance use disorders

  • Familiarity with and endorsement of 12 step program?

  • Ability to pass DOC security clearance?

  • Driver's license

  • CPR / Adult First Aid certification preferred

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
