About Progressive Care Neuro vascular Unit PNCU:
23-bed remote telemetry unit.
We have 39 employees including technicians.
Providing and enhancing inpatient care for neurological disorders, as well as neurological trauma injuries

SPECIFIC ELEMENTS AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Demonstrates the knowledge and skill to provide nursing care to the Progressive Neuro Care Unit patient.
Performs job tasks in a way that ensures personal, patient, and departmental safety.
Communicates effectively and professionally with internal and external customers. Documents required information according to hospital policy.
Initiates and documents patient teaching including family and significant others. Uses appropriate Patient Education documentation modality.
EXPERIENCE
Required - Current Virginia LPN license or compact license.
Preferred - One year experience in area of clinical expertise to which applying.
EDUCATION
Required - Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
Preferred - Enrolled in a registered nurse program.
