Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our organization’s efforts in vulnerability remediation and hardening legacy security controls. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for driving enterprise-wide remediation strategies, partnering with cross-functional teams, and ensuring our systems and applications are resilient against evolving cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities Vulnerability Management
Develop and execute a comprehensive vulnerability remediation strategy aligned with organizational risk tolerance and industry best practices.
Lead vulnerability prioritization efforts by collaborating with risk management, IT Operations, product and application owners.
Establish KPIs and metrics to track remediation progress, communicate status to leadership, and ensure accountability across teams.
Hardening Legacy Systems and Controls
Assess and strengthen existing legacy security controls
Identify and mitigate risks associated with end-of-life or unsupported technologies.
Partner with Oracle Health Security & Compliance, operations and business units to implement compensating controls where full remediation is not immediately feasible.
Team Leadership and Collaboration
Manage and mentor a team of cybersecurity analysts and engineers focused on remediation efforts.
Act as a liaison between cybersecurity, IT operations, application development, and business units to drive alignment on remediation priorities.
Build and sustain a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across technical teams.
Risk Assessment and Reporting
Collaborate with OCI, Oracle Health Security, product and systems owners to evaluate vulnerabilities in the context of business impact and operational risks.
Provide regular executive-level reports on vulnerability remediation, legacy control hardening, and key security initiatives.
Stay informed on emerging threats and recommend adjustments to remediation and hardening strategies as needed.
Required Qualifications
Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
Experience:
8+ years of experience in IT or cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a management role.
Demonstrated expertise in vulnerability management, remediation strategies, and security control frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS, ISO).
Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7) and hardening techniques.
Proven track record of managing security improvements in legacy systems and environments
Certifications: Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or equivalent. Along with Oracle OCI certifications

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $120,100 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
