Job Description

  • Timely delivery of materials to production lines.

  • Storage of materials in the best conditions.

  • Handle Materials, load, and unload materials from local and import suppliers in the different warehouses.

  • Consolidate materials (making kits) of work orders.

  • Receiving, counting/weighing return materials from production.

  • Realization of shipments as well as the placement of the plastic film to avoid damage in transport.

  • Using the desktop and/or handheld computer to perform system transactions.

  • Use of forklifts and skid to move materials and finished products.

  • Perform a checklist of the forklift unit before use.

  • Follow and stay in sync with the work procedures established for different activities.

  • Receives, unpacks, and delivers goods.

  • Our current hours of operations consist of 2, 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday (Shift 1: 6am-2:30pm; Shift 2: 2pm-10:30pm).

Are you up for the challenge?

  • +1-year of experience in storage processes, support to production areas.

  • Health, safety and quality behaviors.

  • +1-year forklift experience skills, with the ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently.

  • Forklift Certification.

  • Use a warehouse management system.

  • Ability to simultaneously balance multiple processes to support overall system efficiency.

  • Tentative start date is last week in October 2023.

  • Must be willing and able to work multiple shifts.

  • Salary $18.00 per hour plus10% ($1.80) shift differential- 2nd Shift ONLY.

Equipment

Stand up Reach Truck.

Stand up Forklift.

Stand up Rider pallet jack.

The LEGO Group is actively seeking United States military veterans and service members.

  • Ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3, plus appropriate education.

Preferred qualification

Packaging experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.

Education requirement

Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Working conditions

Working Environment: Safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection, and steel-toed shoes are required. In addition, task specific PPE may be required.
