Job Summary and Qualifications
SPECIFIC ELEMENTS AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assist OTR in the evaluation of patients
Provides appropriate treatment of patients based on treatment plan
Completes medical records based on department policy
Demonstrates fiscal responsibility
Complies with department policy
Demonstrates effective communication
Demonstrates active involvement in continued learning
Participates in student affiliation program
Participates in department operations and program development
Maintains department supplies and equipment
What qualifications you will need:
EDUCATION
- Graduation from an accredited two year Occupational Therapy assistant program approved by the AMA in collaboration with the American Occupational Therapy Association, (AOTA).
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
Certification through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, (NBCOT) or exam pending
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider
