Job Description:
We are seeking part-time individuals to assist our client with the installation and when necessary decom of infrastructure cable (cat6/Fiber). Technician should be familiar with working in a data center environment. Experience with terminating and testing of cat6/cat6a cable is required. Ideally, technicians is familiar with all tasks associated with the installation and build-out of Voice/Data/Network infrastructure cabling systems.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in networking/structured cabling environment
Ability to work with others in a team environment.
Excellent customer interface skills and computer skills is a must
Read and understand engineering diagrams and spreadsheets
Familiar with working with and testing all types of fiber
Experience in installing and terminating Cat6/Cat6A copper cable.
Work is primarily nights 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM Monday - Friday
Ability to work weekends as needed
Experience in a data center environment is a plus.
