Centene Corporation Business Analyst Intern (Undergraduate - Summer 2025) in Richmond, Virginia

Position Purpose: Learn about various processes and functions within the Managed Care industry and develop professionally by contributing to projects that support the business.
Learn various job functions within the Managed Care industry and explore various career opportunities
Apply academic knowledge and learn new skills by contributing to various projects
Research various legal, regulatory, and other topics within functional area and industry
Attend training and development presentations to enhance professional competencies
Key Responsibilities:
This is a Business Analyst intern working on Risk Management and Business Analysis.
Work on our Control Documentation team to help them achieve their 2025 goals.
Assist the team in defining all the processes of Centene and mitigating risk throughout the business operations function.
Make the documentation process digestible and easy to understand for others across the entire enterprise.
Be logical by nature and a problem solver with a strength in critical thinking.
Have a general understanding of process modelling.
Not required but preferred: Experience with Microsoft Visio, Black Belt in Process Improvement, or pursuing a degree within Accounting, Risk Management, IT or something related.
Experience/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college, preferably in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.
The salary range is: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, degree program, degree level, number of years of participation in the internship program, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
