ATM Implementation Project Manager (Hybrid)

Capital One currently offers approximately 1,300 branded ATMs and 200 Teller Cash Recyclers (TCRs) within its national banking footprint with plans to continuously modernize the branch hardware fleet. As Capital One transforms its physical presence across branch, collective and café

markets, ATM, TCR and other branch hardware will continue to play a large role in meeting customer and associate transaction needs.

Within the ATM & Cash organization, the ATM Implementation Team (AIT) is hiring a project professional, who also understands process improvements, that excels working autonomously and also thrives in a team environment. This person will have excellent attention to detail, analytical,

influence, and communication skills, along with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. The key to success in the role is the ability to manage multiple projects and processes with a keen attention to detail to reduce risk for the business and impacts on customers. Your impact will

provide value for associates, customers, internal and external partners as your efforts go towards continuous improvements to support our operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Elevate project management with delivery and execution by focusing on goals to reduce impacts to the business and customer

  • Actively demonstrate a risk-mindset with data quality, well-managed structure, proactively identifying potential issues, and escalating concerns to be audit-ready at all times

  • Perform validations to ensure Regulatory compliance and support controls

  • Manage and mature simple, repeatable processes that help drive value

  • Lead cross-functional hardware and cash related projects, define and manage schedules to ensure successful project delivery that align with business goals

  • Understand overarching ATM & Cash operations processes in order to identify gaps and drive improvements to support our well-managed pilar

  • Create and update desktop procedures and reporting to reflect accurate project/process information

  • Manage and communicate with multiple internal and 3rd party vendors to plan and implement projects i.e., Installers, security, cash, equipment manufacturers

  • Bring new ideas to the table and challenge the status quo

  • Foster a culture of openness, collaboration and continuous improvement

Note: This role might require schedule flexibility during times when work volume is high to support operations.

“Location: This role is hybrid, where you will be expected to spend about half of your working time in office and half working virtually.”

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certificate

  • At least 1 year of project/process management experience

  • At least 1 year experience working in Jira, Confluence, Google Suite, Google Data Studio, and updating formulas

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of ATM experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience

  • Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, or Project Management Certification
