Back in Motion Rehab Entry level Marketing & Visual Communications Assistant - 1 year Term in Richmond or Vancouver, British Columbia
We're looking for a full-time or part-time entry level Marketing & Visual Communications Assistant for approximately one (1) year term to join our team in either Richmond or Vancouver. This is an on-site position. Part-time would be working 22.5 hours/week, or if interested in Full-time, would be 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday.
This is great opportunity for early career candidates or those who are completing their Marketing degree or program.
The Marketing and Visual Communications Assistant is responsible for coordinating and assisting in enhancing Back in Motion’s (BiM) brand, including web presence, logos and manuals, Intra-and Internet communications, and maintaining all BiM websites and online/digital presence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing, Promotion and Design
Assists in
developing marketing initiatives that support our operations;
developing and implementing marketing plans and strategies for new and existing services;
Designing and updating electronic and print promotional materials, company manuals, handbooks, business cards, advertisements, signage, fax covers, email signatures, PowerPoint presentations, headers and footers, reports and proposals;
managing the scope of project within budget;
Monitors, reviews and reports all marketing activities and results;
Creates and assembles graphics for websites, Intranet, print media, displays and promotional materials;
Coordinates conference advertising and promotional materials;
Coordinates writing and editing content for BiM Websites and BiM Intranet;
Coordinates marketing initiatives, collaborating with multiple departments;
Liaises with publishers;
Effectively manages marketing, advertising and promotional activities;
Acquires frequent, timely and positive media coverage;
Manages creation of videos for online and social media purposes;
Along with the Marketing Lead will ensure the continuous social media activities, promotions and online company strategies;
QUALIFICATIONS
At least 6 months to 1 year of paid or unpaid experience and/or training or a combination of work and training background, in graphic design, marketing, communication, and digital and social media marketing.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or Business (Marketing), or diploma and equivalent combination of education and experience.
Advanced knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite InDesign (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) is required.
Knowledge of content management systems (WordPress, Drupal) is preferred.
Social media: FaceBook, Instagram, X, Tiktok, LinkedIn
Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics) is preferred.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Team player who is able to work under tight deadlines.
Able to work independently.

The rate will start at $20/hour depending on experience, education and skills.
