Asphalt Materials, Inc Assistant Project Manager in Richmond, Indiana
Milestone Contractors is a fully integrated highway, heavy construction, asphalt paving, concrete paving, and site-development general contractor providing construction services throughout the state of Indiana and beyond. We are currently looking to add an Assistant Project Manager to our team.
Assistant Project Manager: Assists in the planning with the construction of heavy civil/highway projects. Essential Functions: Assists with project administration Supports completion of project documentation, accurately and on time Contributes to project schedule; ensure timely completion of project through schedule Aids in documentation of utility relocation efforts Ensures compliance and contract obligations are met Develops strong knowledge of all project plans, specs, subcontracts, PO's, shop drawings, submittals Ability to work on multiple projects with differing scopes and specifications Communicates effectively Develops effective working relationships with owner, subs, and suppliers Contributes at project meetings Facilitates collaboration among owner, subs, suppliers, and company personnel Maintains safe work environment Exhibits safe work behaviors Wears all prescribed PPE Enforces all company safety policies
Qualifications/Competencies: - BS/BA in Construction Engineering Management, Civil Engineering, or related engineering discipline, or equivalent work experience - Minimum of two years of experience in the heavy/highway industry preferred
