Job Responsibilities/Duties

Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS) seeks a Preventive Maintenance Planner who will assist in the administration of the Preventive Maintenance (PM) Program for WRPS, including reviewing and ensuring completeness and compliance of all newly developed and changed PM documents. This position will develop primarily PM work packages (using WRPS Work Control Processes and Work Management Systems).

The Preventative Maintenance Planner's responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Prepare, track, and control work orders, required to accomplish assigned activities;

  • Obtain work package approvals;

  • Monitor and provide schedule status to work management team;

  • Perform planner post reviews of work package and provide feedback;

  • Verify accuracy of work orders and work activity schedules;

  • Review and analyze work documents for proper classification, priority and description;

  • Prepare work documents in accordance with work control processes;

  • With input from field work supervision, estimate and establish man hours, material, and manpower needed for job completion;

  • Support/develop material requisition; and

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Grade 16:

Bachelor's Degree (BS/BA) in Engineering, Construction, Business Management or related field; and

Five (5) years of practical work experience in maintenance or related area, or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience. Knowledge of operational, maintenance work activities, and preventive maintenance planning is required.

Grade 17:

Bachelor's Degree (BS/BA) in Engineering, Construction, Business Management or related field; and

Six (6) years of practical work experience in maintenance or related area, or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience. Knowledge of operational, maintenance work activities, and preventive maintenance planning is required.

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of SmartPlant, in looking up the status of new preventive maintenance work requests and obtaining drawings.

  • Enterprise Asset Management experience, including developing material requests, running reports for time sensitive planning in the PM schedule module, and great attention to detail in developing work orders.

  • Ability to obtain the planner qualification in a timely manner.

  • Knowledge of operational, maintenance work activities and preventive maintenance planning at tank farms, or Category 2 Nuclear Facilities is desired

Compensation & Benefits

Grade 16:

Hiring Range Minimum: $86,138

Hiring Range Maximum: $108,513

Grade 17:

Hiring Range Minimum: $94,650

Hiring Range Maximum: $119,250

In accordance with the company's philosophy on compensation for exempt and salaried non-exempt employees, WRPS takes into consideration a variety of factors when determining initial salary to include assigned job scope and responsibility, a candidate's qualifications as compared to internal comparators performing in a similar role, and the external labor market. A salary offer will be made within the targeted hiring range posted. Note a candidate's prior salary history will not be taken into consideration.
