ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work remote with our client. This Operations Consultant position will conduct program development services to new nuclear projects to advance those power generation projects toward commercial operation. This position supports new nuclear project development by supporting the development of programs required for all facets of nuclear power plant construction and operation, with an emphasis on supporting development of programs related to operations, training, quality assurance, and maintenance. This full-time position is located in Richland, WA. Pay rate: $66.57 - $111.8 Benefits: * Sick Leave: One hour of paid sick leave for every 40-hours worked (sick leave can be used after 90-days of employment) * EAP: Employee Assistance Program * Benefit Options: Medical, HSA, Group Life/AD&D, Voluntary Life/AD&D, Voluntary Short-Term Disability, Voluntary Long-Term Disability, Voluntary Critical Illness, Voluntary Accident, 401k (eligible after one year and 1,000 hours worked - employer match up to 4%) * Other benefits include the following: Calm App, Access Perks Responsibilities: * Provide training and support for employees involved in program development. * Mentor and coach supervisors and individual contributors. * Assist in identifying, prioritizing, and scheduling applicable programs. * Address and minimize regulatory challenges. * Support the development of programs for new nuclear projects, including incorporating best practices and regulations from NRC, NEI, and EPRI. * Tailor programs, processes, and procedures to suit advanced reactor designs. * Consult with managers, supervisors, and individual contributors to develop new nuclear programs for stakeholders. * Manage the delivery of programmatic solutions across operations, maintenance, training, and quality assurance for new nuclear reactors. * Interface with key business stakeholders to nurture relationships and maintain a positive industry reputation. * Contribute to business proposals and responses to RFPs. * Perform strategic and long-range planning as needed. * Develop goals and milestone schedules. * Allocate, assign, and align resources effectively. Requirements: * Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field from an accredited college or university and 10 years of experience in a combination of operations, maintenance and/or technical in the nuclear industry. * OR an associate degree in engineering or related technical field from an accredited college or university with at least 12 years of experience in a combination of operations, maintenance and/or technical in the nuclear industry. * OR a high school diploma or GED and 14 years of experience in a combination of operations, maintenance and/or technical in the nuclear industry. * Commerial Nuclear Experience Required. * Previous RO/SRO license, SRO certification, Senior Operator qualification, or station Management Certification in the nuclear industry. * Previous consulting experience in the nuclear industry. * Previous experience in nuclear operations, training, quality assurance and/or maintenance programs. Ability to effectively achieve complex goals in uncertain environments. * Familiarity with applicable portions of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Regulatory Guides, INPO Guides, and industry standards. * Understanding of procedural and programmatic compliance requirements associated with nuclear plant programs. * Knowledge of budgeting concepts, including budget development and monitoring. * Strong understanding of nuclear power plant operations. * Ability to apply advanced engineering and operat To view the full job description,
