Providence St. Joseph Health Emergency Technician in Richland, Washington
Description Emergency Technician - Emergency Department (ED) at Kadlec Regional Medical Center Under the direction of the Unit Manager, and under the supervision of the ED/FSED Charge nurse, assists the registered nurse, physician assistant, nurse practitioner and physician in the Emergency Department in giving designated care to the patient under their direct supervision; and performs a variety of other related duties to assist in the throughput of patients in the ED/FSED. Shift Details: 36 hours weekly, Variable shift Required qualifications: Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification Or Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification Within 60 days of hire Washington Medical Assistant Registration - with the Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification Preferred qualifications: 1 year Hospital, physician office, emergency services, or other medical setting.
