As a Ceramics Manufacturing Operator in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Fuel Business Unit. Your work will include: Experience through System-one at Richland production center or previous ceramics production required. Operates production equipment. Responsible for manufacturing and assembly of nuclear products. In the ceramics product center powder is pressed, sintered, and ground to fabricate fuel pellets. The candidate will learn all aspects of fabrication in the area. May be required to work around chemicals and radioactive materials and must be able to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment. May follow drawings, guidelines, and/or procedures to ensure product specifications and tolerance are met. Be competent to perform tasks that may impact on health and safety in the workplace. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.
