Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant to join our healthcare team in Richardson, Texas. The Sr. Accountant will be responsible for account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management. This role requires proficiency in various software including Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP.

Responsibilities:

• Perform account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.

• Carry out balance sheet reconciliation to track and verify transactions.

• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial records are consistent.

• Manage general ledger and assist in month end close processes.

• Prepare and post journal entries and ensure accuracy of all entries in the ledger.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.

• Work with SAGE and Paycom for financial management and reporting.

• Apply accounting skills and knowledge to solve complex problems and assist with projects.

• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must have a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field

• Proven experience as a senior accountant

• Solid understanding of accounting and financial principles and procedures

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with SAGE and PayCom is required

• Demonstrated ability to perform account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations

• Expertise in handling general ledger and journal entries

• Experience in month-end close procedures

• Excellent organizational and analytical skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Must possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential

• Certification such as CPA is preferred but not mandatory

• Must be legally authorized to work in the country.
