Corporate Quality team in our Richardson, Texas office is looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible to help drive innovations and improvements within our quality processes, monitoring and reporting internally and externally on our deployed product reliability performance related to our Wirlesss and Disaggregated Optical Solutions. Manage vendors as required and help dirve improvements as necessary. Role includes but is not limited to identification of system deficiencies, focus on customer satisfaction, driving issue resolution and use of analytical methods and tools for driving process improvements and vendor management.

Ideal candidate for this role will:

  • Able to learn/understand basic system architecture and operation to identify issues and help drive resolution

  • Work with and help establish new analytic methods for identification of potential hardware/software deficiencies

  • Support existing products deployed in the field with quality monitoring and issue resolution

  • Perform data analysis and help drive continuous improvements and improve customer satisfaction

  • Collaborate with business teams (software and hardware engineering, PLM, BU's…) teams to identify and report issues and final resolution status to key stakeholders

  • Participate in the development of processes and procedures for reporting of metrics

  • Vendor management and driving corrective action process to manage customer issues

  • Able to communicate effectively with customers (internal and external)

  • Attend/lead required departmental and project meetings

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors or master’s in industrial or Electrical Engineering or related field (Masters a plus)

  • 1-3 years’ experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint

  • Proven ability to contribute in a collaborative environment

  • Use of data analytics for data mining and identification of issue resolution

  • Able to utilize and analyze s/w and h/w bug tracking internal system

  • Experience in delivering effective presentations

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Fujitsu salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. ​ It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each situation. The pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: specific skills, qualifications, experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. The pay range for this position is estimated at $69,357.40 to $99,082.00 USD. Additionally, this role may be eligible for a short-term incentive based on company results and individual performance.
