Job Description

One of the World's largest Defense, Aerospace and Intel companies is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer with an active Top Secret clearance to join their team on-site in Richardson, TX. The ideal candidate will have recent hands-on full stack software development experience within an Agile environment and skilled in Java or C++. Must be a hands-on developer, not looking for any lead responsibilities.

Environment:

• Enterprise Java 8/11 with RHEL7, SAFe Agile run shop w/ 5 SCRUM teams. SPRING Framework, SOAP UI, REST.

• Large distributed system. Mostly transient data which is stored in PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Mongo DB.

Tech Stack:

• Backend: Java 8 (moving to Java 11), Spring framework, RESTful API, SOAP API

• Front end: JavaScript, Angular, Dojo (minimal front-end work needed)

• OS: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 (RHEL 7)

• Agile Tools: Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo

• Framework: SPRING

• SoapUI for Test driver web services

Skills and Requirements

• Active Top-Secret clearance

• Experience performing hands-on Full Stack development

• Must have experience developing in an Agile SW environment

• advanced Java application development experience

• experience w/ building associated automated unit and smoke tests for developed code.

• Security + (must be willing to obtain within one month of starting) - CI polygraph

• Knowledge of Cloud technologies, migration to Cloud, containerization and AWS is helpful for the program's future planned modernization efforts

• Messaging brokers like ActiveMQ, Experience with SOA gateways

• Understanding of design patterns

• experience developing, testing, and delivering applications within a DevSecOps framework

• experience w/ Agile tool sets (ideally JIRA, Bitbucket, etc.)

• experience w/ troubleshooting applications and infrastructure on Linux based Operating Systems

• Understanding of databases null
