Job Description

As a Digital Engineer with CVS Health, you will participate on an Team of 6-10 people and work with the digital agile team to build high quality, usable Products to customers / stakeholders. The position is located in the Northbrook Illinois office or Richardson/Collins TX and candidates must be able to be in the office to work with product teams.The ideal candidate will be able to effectively contribute and lead to the delivery of software products through their technical leadership efforts in collaboration with cross functional and cross organizational teams.As the digital Engineer, you will:• Participate on Agile Development Team• Design and build efficient and user-friendly software products to advance and support business needs• Design and build in innovate technologies or cloud solutions for effective resource allocation, fast application deployment and zero downtime of upgrades while delivering rapidly iterative new designs

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

Minimum: 90,000

Maximum: 180,000

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Analysis, Designing, Development, Implementation, Testing & Packaging• 5+ years experience in languages: Java/J2EE• 5+ years experience in frameworks: Spring Boot, Spring• 5+ years experience in Experience with a CI/CD pipeline GIT, Stash, Bit Bucket, Artifactory, Jenkins, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in designing & implementing RESTful services• Demonstrated experience developing with Spring JPA and Hibernate • Experience in messaging framework like JMS• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Experience in Web Application Development – Angular and related frameworks• Experience managing software deliverables using tools like Jira / Rally• Experience in Datapower development• Experience in TDD• Experience in one or more of the following cloud platforms: AWS Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Heroku, or other PaaS technologies• Experience in OS virtualization and containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes• Large scale distributed software design and development experience• Knowledge of secure architecture and design: PCI, OWASP top 10, secure coding standards

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
