ALL TEMPS 1 PERSONNEL Administrative Assistant in Richardson, Texas

[Religious institution seeking an efficient and effective temporary resource to fulfill the administrative assistant role. The administrative assistant will perform general office duties, support the pastoral, and church staff that contributes to the day-to-day operations of the church.

[The ideal candidate will be computer savvy, experienced with office 365 applications, proficient with Microsoft Office products, functions as a team player, committed to performing tasks with excellence, demonstrates integrity and confidentiality, a self-starter, and dependable. This position will work weekends especially Sundays and on occasion, evenings during critical budget preparation, special projects, and church events and/or programming.

  • Effectively and accurately compile reports using graphs, and formulations. Minimum intermediate knowledge of Excel is required.
  • Create and upload documents for leaders. Intermediate knowledge of Office 365, SharePoint, Microsoft Publisher, and Word.
  • Attend staff and church meetings. Will be expected to record next step action items discussed during meetings and distribute accordingly in a timely manner.
  • Assist with creating and printing weekly bulletin.
  • Receive deliveries; sort and distribute packages and incoming mail.
  • Attentive to Amitys emails and incoming phone calls. Professional and timely responses to emails and phone calls is required. When applicable, direct calls, messages, and emails to appropriate leader and/or staff member.
  • Maintain and order office supplies.
  • Learn current church management software and other applications.
  • Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.

  • Follows requests with clarity, responds to supervisors direction. Be accountable for work responsibilities. Be committed to completing all tasks within allocated budget and approved timeline. Escalates in a timely manner if projects/tasks completion date is at risk. Requires minimal supervision.
