Oneida County - Labor Relations/Employee Services Deputy Clerk - Treasurer in Rhinelander, Michigan
Oneida County is accepting applications to fill a part-time (22 hours per week) Deputy Clerk position with the Treasurer's Office.
SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES:
- Customer service to the public via phone, email and in-person to provide information, collect tax payments and answer questions.
- Closes out and balances cash registers, reconciles accounts and deposits funds as needed.
- Performs various bookkeeping, data entry and clerical tasks for Accounts Payable, payroll, tax collection and other processes managed by the Treasurer's Office.
- Read and locate property descriptions to complete and sign Timber Cutting Notices.
- Lottery credit maintenance.
Other duties as assigned.
*WORK HOURS: * These part-time (22 hours/week) position works in the Treasurer's Office of the Oneida County Courthouse. The position will ideally work Monday 8:00AM-4:30PM, Wednesday 10:30AM-4:30PM and Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM but some flexibility is available.
*WAGES AND BENEFITS: * Starting 2024 hourly wage of $22.23 to $24.13 per hour based on previous education and experience. Part time position offers health, dental and vision insurances along with a generous Paid Time Off (PTO) package with the ability to carryover unused PTO hours into future years.
