Senior Applications Developer, Automated Testing, Mast Technology Services, Inc., Reynoldsburg, OH. Accountable for developing automated tests that support the digital platform during projects of varying size. These tests can support the VS & Co websites, mobile applications, and ancillary systems. Key contributor for making changes to the VSTAE framework and CICD pipeline that supports the business digital platform. Leverage past experiences and learning in coding practices and application development. Communicate and collaborate with the team, other IT teams, and the product owner they support. Participate in the growth and development of lesser experienced team members. They should have a desire to learn about technology and the retail industry. Consistently demonstrate VS & Co functional competencies, including innovation and reinvention, executing for results, communication and collaboration, fast and agile, and think talent. Work autonomously ensuring on time delivery and high quality. Responsible for the technical test design, development, and implementation. Understanding of product specific area of application under test. Execute knowledge of the testing frameworks and its components. Initiate activities and projects related to areas of responsibility. Participate in the gathering of functional requirements. Estimate automation work. Design tests and automation strategies to support projects. Speak openly to team members and other IT teams regarding solutions. Communicate complex technical concepts to leadership and peers. Build and maintain strong partnerships with peer application teams, product owners, and leadership. Prepare and communicate status, issues, and opportunities to the rest of the team and business partners. Resolution of defects. Participation in rotational 24x7 on call support activities. Creation of detailed documentation. Identification of recurring problems. Provide code review coaching to less experienced team members. Evaluate and provide assistance in test designs to less experienced team members. Provide feedback on delivery quality to lesser experience team members. Remote Work Available. Telecommuting required -- employee may live anywhere in the United States. Req incl: Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related field of study and 5 years of experience, including 5 years of experience with Java; 5 years of experience with Selenium, Cucumber, REST Assured, Kibana, Grafana, Jira, and Apium; 5 years of experience with design patterns and reusable libraries, including Singleton, Abstract Factory, Page Object, Adapter, Log4j, Spring Framework, and Faker; 5 years of experience with testing approaches for APIs, mobile applications, application performance, and web applications; 5 years of experience with Agile, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Software Configuration Management tools, including GIT and GIT Flow, Stash, Harness, Bamboo, and Jenkins; 5 years of experience applying Risk Based Testing (RBT) principles, including risk identification, risk breakdown, risk analysis, risk response planning, risk mitigation, risk contingency, risk monitoring, and risk control.
