Bath & Body Works Associate Operations Planner in Reynoldsburg, Ohio

Individual contributor responsible for assisting in the delivery of products to the customer teams. They support the Operations and Senior Operations Planners with reporting, production tracking, system maintenance, and vendor relationships. They assist with leading the procurement of components to make product in conjunction with the production schedule of the finished product at vendors, and partner with logistics teams to ensure that the finished product is delivered to customer warehouses in a timely manner. Responsible for the system set-up and data integrity of SAP and PLM. Strong ability to prioritize and multi-task with outstanding attention to detail. Helps troubleshoot and problem solve when issues arise, making recommendations for solutions that minimize the impact of delays within the supply chain.

Responsibilities

Vendor Management

  • Responsible for tracking & timely movement of component inventory

  • Assist with portal transactions (partners with Inventory Control, Contract Manufacturers & Suppliers) / troubleshoot issues such as quantity and date discrepancies.

  • Build strong partnerships with Vendor partners, Global Transportation and internal collaborators to ensure timely execution of projects

  • Communicates new launch forecasts to vendors

Inventory Management

  • Responsible for accurate set-up of all master data in SAP and PLM

  • Responsible for expediting component shipments & communicating the impact on production.

  • Lead detailed Bill of Material (BOM) accuracy; work closely with Inv. Control during Book to Book to identify BOM issues & resolve

  • Assist Inventory Control with Physical Inventory & provide support to resolve issues

  • Assist with quarterly inventory reporting

Transaction/Data Management

  • Daily management of system transaction issues at Vendor Base; make recommendations and communicate downstream impact when issues arise

  • Creation and release of ‘Just in Time’ Purchase Orders to Beauty Park Suppliers as well as Non-Inventory purchase orders to support business needs

  • PO date/system management

  • Partnership with Quality team to review “holds” and ensure samples are processed in a timely manner

Reporting

  • Responsible for generating multiple daily/weekly reports

  • Responsible for meeting timelines to support component and launch forecasting processes

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of supply chain experience

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong time management and organizational skills

  • Ability to build and cultivate strong trusted advisor relationships with internal and external partners

  • Proficiency in PC based software tools (Microsoft Office Suite)

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
