Noblis Summer 2025 Intern - Business Systems Analyst (Hybrid or Remote) in Reston, Virginia

Responsibilities

You'll have the opportunity to dive deep into complex problems, uncover insights, and craftinnovativesolutions that will make asignificant impact on ourorganization. The ideal candidate willpossessstrong analytical skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

You will be a memberofan Agile Scrum cross-functional team maintaininga variety of web applications that align with the strategic goals of the organization. The team is part of Enterprise Technologies that supports Noblis employees, subcontractors, and clients. We collaborate closely with other Shared Services divisions and work with end-users to gather feedback and improve our solutions. 

  

While this position requires individual work, it will be in a highly collaborative team environment where you will be actively engaged and involved with an Agile project teamon a daily basis.

Qualified candidate will provide technical support to Noblis-directed software development solutions and projects, to include: 

  • Activeparticipationin agile ceremonies includingiteration planning,daily stand-up,groomingand retrospective

  • Meetingwith clients to gather requirements

  • Decomposing andanalyzingfeature requests

  • Developingsolutions to satisfy customer needs

  • Developinguser stories to team standards

  • Generatingwireframesfor feature requests

  • Maintainingapplication documentation

  • Testing bug fixes and new featuresto meet acceptance criteria

Required Qualifications

  • Strongcritical thinkingskills

  • Ability to apply a methodical approach to solving complex problems, to includegatheringand documentingrequirements, analyzing data, and providing thoughtful recommendationsand innovative solutions

  • Excellentverbal and writtencommunicationand interpersonal skills

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams,customersand users, andmaintainingdocumentation

Desired Qualifications

  • Pursuing degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business or a related field

  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment; Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience is a bonus

  • Proactive with growth mindset and commitment to relentless improvement for you, the team, and solutions

  • Experience working withproject management tools, such as Atlassian suite

  • Knowledge of business process modeling and documentation tools such as Visio

Salary Range Explanation

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.

Posted Salary Range

USD $23.00 - USD $38.00 /Hr.
