A Day in the life
A day in the life of a Senior Software Engineer is focused on designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge cloud-hosted web applications. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions, drive continuous improvement, and ensure scalability and reliability of our software systems. Your day includes writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code while staying up-to-date with the latest technologies to propose innovative solutions. You will also participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall architecture of our applications, ensuring they support internal and external stakeholders effectively.

The ideal Senior Software Engineer is a passionate and experienced professional who thrives in collaborative, Agile environments. Strong technical skills, a growth mindset, and the ability to lead and mentor others are essential for success in this role. Being able to communicate clearly, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and stay current with emerging technologies is imperative.
Must Haves
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Proven experience with object-oriented programming languages such as C#, Python, or Java.
• Expertise with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and serverless architecture.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in databases such as Snowflake, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and familiarity with GraphQL.
• Competence in unit testing frameworks like JUnit or xUnit.
• Leadership experience, including mentoring junior developers and leading technical initiatives.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills in Agile environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
Nice to Haves
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of data-driven decision-making tools and analytics.
• Understanding of automated testing and test-driven development (TDD).
• Experience with scalable web application development.
