FANNIE MAE Senior Manager - Conference Tools Engineering (On-Site) in Reston, Virginia

Job Description As a valued leader on our team, you will manage a team responsible for designing, developing, testing, or maintaining hardware, technology, or processes.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

The End User Services - Engineering - Senior Manager role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own.

You will be responsible for building and managing conference rooms and Teams voice calls. Your responsibilities will include leading an engineering support team and ensuring a high-quality end-user experience. You will play a crucial role in providing a reliable and consistent technology experience by keeping all communication and video streaming technologies up-to-date and functioning optimally. Additionally, you will be responsible for designing, planning, implementing, and supporting the next generation of conference rooms. Your efforts will be essential in facilitating effective collaboration through maintaining high standards of call quality and video streaming services.

Qualifications Experience Requirements:

  • 6 years of industry experience in managing conference room technologies and services.

  • Proven expertise in managing call quality and monitoring tools.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTRoW and MTRoA), Cisco Webex, and video streaming technologies.

  • Experience in managing Audinate, Shure, and other conference room technologies.

  • Expertise in cloud architecture, strategy, networking, security, and compliance.

  • Skilled in defining and documenting policies, procedures, standards, network diagrams/designs, and business rules.

  • Proficient in Agile project management, Scrum, and Jira.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.

Technical Skill Requirements:

  • Effective communication with upper leadership and understanding stakeholder requirements.

  • Experience in designing and supporting conference rooms.

  • Proficiency in operating microphones, cameras, speakers, and other A/V equipment for quality conference room solutions.

  • Microsoft Teams administration and CQD/Voice services.

  • Experience with Security/OAuth/IdP/SIEM/CASB/Monitoring/Alerting.

  • Proficiency in Monitoring and Alerting platforms to ensure high-quality and reliable technology for conference rooms.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage highly effective engineering and support teams.

  • Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to plan, develop roadmaps, and organize work.

  • Ability to manage, prioritize, and delegate tasks independently and collaboratively.

  • Commitment to continuous learning and adapting to new trends and technologies.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with team members and stakeholders.
