SMX is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to perform daily duties to support high performance through effective system monitoring and maintenance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct regular system monitoring and software patching.
Quickly resolve system issues and customer tickets.
Implement security measures such as Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance.
Experience with scripting languages
Experience with system monitoring tools and auditing data from the OS
Experience with virtualization
Experience with NAGIOS, Puppet, TENTAKEL, or IPMI
Experience with NESSUS
Experience with high performance Linux cluster
Experience with source code control system
Experience with AWS API command line
Experience with Puppet/Chef, Jenkins, and YUM repositories
Required Skills/Experience:
Clearance: TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph
On site support Monday - Friday in Reston, VA
