Position: Human Resources Analyst (Data, Systems, and Compliance)

NVR, Inc. is looking for an HR Data Analyst to support development, administration, and maintenance of human resources specific data analytics, systems, reporting, and compliance.

The HR Analyst will be responsible for creating and maintaining robust data warehouses, analyzing large data sets, supporting user acceptance testing for system implementations and enhancements, collaborating with external vendors and internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and leading process improvement projects.

This position reports to the Director of Compensation & Benefits and is based at the company’s corporate office in Reston, VA.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of HR Metrics, dashboards, reports and tool.

  • Engage with internal stakeholders to understand and gather data reporting requirements.

  • Utilize data models and statistical analysis to interpret and report on patterns and trends in large data sets.

  • Provide business insights and recommendations through data analysis, research, and benchmarking.

  • Setup, maintain, and update HR related system configurable tables and data fields.

  • Lead user acceptance testing for HR systems implementations and enhancements.

  • Lead system configurations, testing, and auditing for annual open enrollment and all benefit system updates.

  • Partner with IT to implement and update external vendor integrations.

  • Provide training and support to functional users on HR reporting systems and tools.

  • Collaborate with IT to identify and implement system solutions that will drive efficiencies.

  • Support the compensation and benefits team with processing regulatory filings and reports which include, 1095Cs and 1094C ACA reporting, Form 5500s, Summary Annual Reports, PCORI, non-discrimination testing, and CAA reporting.

  • Research, communicate, and facilitate training on changes in laws and regulations to appropriate stakeholders.

  • Define and document policies and procedures related to established business standards and in compliance with applicable legislation/regulations.

  • Identify and drive continuous process improvements across HR ensuring processes are efficient and scalable.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years related experience.

  • Proficiency with Excel and HR management systems.

  • Advanced Excel skills.

  • Experience using reporting/query and data management tools, such as excel power query and Power BI.

  • Experience with statistical analysis methods, modeling, and analyzing data sets.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
