What you will be doing?
Working directly with the Director of Sales and Marketing and the Director of Revenue Management to negotiate pricing and optimize production to positively impact hotel revenues.
Building relationships thru proactive account solicitation and responsive sales opportunities; Activities could include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, site inspections, trade shows, etc.
Develops relationships within the community to strengthen and expand the customer base for sales opportunities.
Manages and develops relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Provides accurate & comprehensive reporting when needed.
Using Knowledge of Market Trends and Target Customer Information to Maximize Revenue.
Understanding competitors’ strengths/ weaknesses, current economic trends, and supply/demand for midtown.
Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (I.E., generating proposals, writing contracts, customer correspondence, etc.).
Achieves personal sales goals.
Gains understanding of the location’s primary target customer and service expectations; serves the customer by understanding their business, and business concerns, offering better business solutions.
What is required?
We are looking for someone passionate about creating a genuine customer experience while achieving revenue objectives.

The ideal candidate will have local area experience and 2 years in a group sales role.
You will be responsible for effectively soliciting and securing new group business from a variety of markets while strengthening the relationships and production of existing group accounts.
You will work closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing and Revenue Management to negotiate pricing and optimize production to positively impact hotel revenues.
