Robert Half Sr. Accountant in Reseda, California

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Sr. Accountant to join our team in the healthcare and social assistance industry based in Reseda, California. This role will involve managing account reconciliations, assisting with month-end closes, preparing reports, and managing fixed assets among other duties.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct account and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy

• Prepare and process journal entries as required

• Assist with the month-end close process for 13 entities

• Review account variances using Excel and pivot tables

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for board meetings

• Assist with year-end audit data gathering and annual tax return preparation

• Manage and account for fixed assets

• May include experience with partnership accounting, setting up, and maintaining entries

• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant, preferably in the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industry.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations.

• Strong experience with General Ledger management and Journal Entries.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience in performing Month End Close procedures.

• Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP accounting software.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• CPA certification is highly desirable.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to the highest degree of professional standards.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Knowledge of current accounting regulations and standards.
