Clinical Informatics Specialist works in the organization’s main office but may travel within Los Angeles County or adjoining counties for meetings and information gathering. Clinical Informatics Specialist will work with and report to Clinical Department supervisors and IT Department and participate in quality assurance development and maintenance. Must be able to utilize and process data sets from both clinical and technological perspectives. Detail oriented and focused. QUALIFICATIONS: * Background and ability to work with current information technology. * Background in clinical fields (understanding medical records, clinical terminology, clinical workflows) * LVN or higher clinical licensure preferred, but not required. * Good understanding of Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Visio. * Working EHR Knowledge. * Experience with Netsmart Homecare and/or MyUnity and Microsoft Power Platforms preferred, but not required. * Skills in SQL queries and reports in electronic health record systems preferred but not required. * Valid driver's license, automobile insurance/reliable and well-maintained transportation.
