We are looking for a dedicated Sr. Accountant to join our team located in Renton, Washington. The primary function of this role will involve handling intercompany transfers, managing a team of six, and utilizing SAP systems. This role is pivotal in maintaining our financial health and making sure all accounting activities are accurate and timely.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee intercompany transfers and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.

• Coordinate with a team of six accountants, fostering a collaborative environment to meet departmental and company goals.

• Utilize SAP systems to manage financial data and generate reports.

• Handle fixed assets and inventory, ensuring accurate and efficient tracking and valuation.

• Reconcile accounts and balance sheets, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.

• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring all business transactions are recorded.

• Conduct month-end close procedures, reviewing all accounting entries for accuracy.

• Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.

• Ensure all financial operations align with the current financial legislation.

The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000. Benefits available with this position include medical, dental and vision; life and disability insurances; participation in the company’s 401(k) plan with 6% match, and access to the pension plan! As well, a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation, 5 days of paid sick leave and 10 paid holidays per calendar year.

Requirements • Must possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation

• Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is required

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations is essential

• Must have a thorough understanding of General Ledger

• Familiarity with Journal Entries is required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential

• Experience in Month End Close is necessary

• Proficiency in SAP is required

• Must hold a degree in Accounting or a related field

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred

• Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required

• Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
