Division Information PACCAR's Information Technology Division (ITD), located in Renton, WA utilizes cutting-edge technology to provide systems development, consulting, voice, and data communications services to the entire corporation, which has high visibility in the technology sector. Requisition Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management, configuration, and maintenance of our portal environment. The Software Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the availability, performance, and security of our portal and associated web applications. This is a hands-on technical role that requires strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills. Job Functions/Responsibilities Implement and support the SSO and MFA services. Understanding of SAML, OAuth, SCIM standards and protocols, awareness of implementation. Provision, configure & support resilient cloud deployment architecture. Provision, configure & support on-prem infrastructure including IIS, publishing and load balancing configuration. Manage scalability, capacity planning, redundancy, and resiliency. Maintain service availability and performance SLAs based on business and product requirements. Work with other Identity Platform engineers to deploy and maintain services. Contribute to documentation related to design, deployment, validation, operations, and disaster recovery. Design proactive service monitoring, alerting, and trend analysis of the services, and implement self-healing. Configuration of identity system including items such as security groups & roles. Assist and support customer requests for incident reports, enhancements and ad hoc requests. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Windows IIS Administrator or a similar role. Knowledge of EmpowerID, OpenID or other Identity software and C#. Knowledge of directory services, preferably active directory. Ability to work cross-functionally across multiple business units, such as IT application and infrastructure, product development teams, primarily integrating applications and users with identity services. Experience with configuring and managing SSL certificates, HTTPS, and secure web communication. Familiarity with load balancers, reverse proxies, and content delivery networks (CDNs), F5 Access Policy Manager. Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and administration tasks. Understanding of Active Directory, DNS, and network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, etc.). Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, are a plus.
