Robert Half Senior Engineering Program Manager in Renton, Washington

Overview:

The Senior Engineering Program Manager will collaborate with Engineering and business stakeholders to define and design solutions that delight caregivers and add value to Providence. This role spans the entire lifecycle of the solution/service, from initial design to deployment and support. The ideal candidate excels in a fast-paced environment, managing on-time delivery, understanding customer needs, and demonstrating strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and partnering skills.

Responsibilities:

Solution and Service Design:

  • Develop design options and generate caregiver insights.

  • Define problems, identify needed data, and create appealing solutions.

  • Communicate feature specifications aligned with the multi-year vision.

Caregiver Lifecycle:

  • Create tools and materials for caregiver support, marketing, and sales.

  • Align content development with overall strategy.

Engineering Lifecycle:

  • Advocate for engineering improvements and share best practices.

  • Participate in design, code, and test planning and reviews.

  • Manage feature dependencies and release criteria.

Solution and Service Ownership:

  • Ensure end-to-end quality and resolve issues for the solution/service.

  • Regularly use and improve the solution/service.

Program Management:

  • Manage client expectations, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Coordinate multi-functional team activities and project schedules.

  • Handle scope, risk, and issue management and communications.

Leadership:

  • Mentor and coach less experienced team members.

    Requirements

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in program management, engineering lifecycle, and solution design.

  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and partnering skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • No patient contact or entry into patient facilities required.

  • Local resource not required.
