Providence St. Joseph Health Senior Billing and Collections Representative *Remote* in Renton, Washington

Description Senior Billing and Collections Representative Remote Under the direction of the PFS Manager, the Senior Government Billing and Collections Representative is responsible for a variety of payer yield activities related to accounts reimbursed by a government payer, including Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE, and Veterans Administration, among others. The representative oversees that billing is compliant and timely and follows up on all collection activities, as well as addresses numerous compliance requirements. Required qualifications: Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 3 years Experience in medical management computer applications. 3 years Healthcare business office experience or related field. 3 years Patient Accounting experience in a physician office, hospital, or medical collections. 3 years Billing collections, or denials management experience and medical terminology. Preferred qualifications: 1 year Experience specifically with Epic applications.
