Requisition Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Software Quality Lead that can help mature and influence PACCAR’s quality practice to improve overall velocity and project quality. The Software Quality Lead will be responsible for QA Strategy, Governance and facilitating the testing efforts for very complex multimillion dollar software development projects. The qualified candidate will work closely with the project manager, project engineering team and developers to design and deliver an effective quality plan. Effective collaboration and excellent communication skills are a must. We are looking for a results oriented and flexible individual with a "can-do" attitude that can make the necessary QA assessments throughout the product lifecycle. The Quality Lead will be responsible for owning and testing feature areas of our applications and tools. This individual will be a fast learner, a strong QA contributor, results driven, with high integrity and outstanding communication skills.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
Work Closely with the development team to assess project needs and ensure coverage across functional, integration, performance, security and automated testing, in line with existing processes
Support, and assist software development engineers as needed in the development and maintenance of software applications
Design, develop and implement automated test scripts, ensuring adherence to defined coding standards, and automation designs
Responsible for defining, implementing, and tracking return on investment analysis for test efforts across different types of testing (Automation, performance etc.)
Manages the test automation activities throughout the software development and test phases across multiple project and product deliverables
Analyze business requirements then design and code test framework ensuring that quality standards and practices are being followed
Collaborate with development, architecture, infrastructure, and environment technical teams to ensure environment builds support flexible and scalable automation test capabilities.
Build and manages the deployment pipelines automation and release activities in Azure DevOps
Use of Azure DevOps and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools on a daily basis

Qualifications
5+ years of IT Quality/Tester related experience required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field
Thorough understanding of software quality assurance and quality control techniques and software development lifecycles (SDLC), Test Automation Frameworks & Various Test Methodologies.
Knowledgeable in HP Quality & Performance Center use and administration
Knowledgeable and hands on in automation tools and frameworks: HP UFT, Selenium, Visual StudioCodedUI, SoapUI, NUnit/MSUnit
Knowledgeable and hands on in performance testing tools: HP Performance Center, Visual StudioWeb/Load Tests, performance counters
Knowledgeable in VBScript, C#, or Java
Understanding of testing web services: SOAP, REST
Able to effectively communicate complex concepts and influence decisions
A working knowledge of programing languages, database design, and Program Management skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Demonstrated creative and analytical problem solving and decision making skills
Maintain a high level of quality while working under pressure and deadlines.

Salary Range:
At PACCAR, we value talent and promote growth and development. We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for this position is $96,700 - $136,3290 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
