Division Information PACCAR's Information Technology Division (ITD), located in Renton, WA utilizes cutting-edge technology to provide systems development, consulting, voice and data communications services to other PACCAR divisions across the world. The Role PACCAR is looking for a curious, creative, and motivated individual that is passionate about information technology, with a special interest in learning about Enterprise Scale Cloud Services. During your internship with PACCAR, you'll have the opportunity to explore new technologies, work with technical teams, and possibly lead projects. Our internship program is designed to give you real world experience and develop skills to help you succeed. Job Responsibilities & Projects Projects may include: Deployment of Cloud services to multi-cloud environments using DevOps methodologies Instrumentation of deployments to enable networking, Kubernetes and containerized applications. Cloud operations Cloud cost optimizations Minimum Technical Qualifications Experience coding in a minimum of one of the following higher-level Object-Oriented Programming languages (Python, C++, Java) and Terraform scripting. Familiar with GitHub and CI/CD automation Familiar with Cloud Computing concepts Familiar with cloud networking Preferred Technical Qualifications Experience working with any Cloud Computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Containers is highly desired Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, google cloud run) Experience in distributed systems and the three pillars - Scalability, Reliability, and Performance Experience with CI/CD and Pipeline as Code (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Travis CI, Circle CI) Education Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Graduate degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
