Division Information PACCAR's Information Technology Division (ITD), located in Renton, WA utilizes cutting-edge technology to provide systems development, consulting, voice and data communications services to the entire Corporation, which has high visibility in the technology sector. The Role/Team DevOps Cloud team plays a crucial role in the PACCAR IT organization by combining development, operations, and cloud expertise to enable efficient and reliable software delivery and management of cloud-based systems. We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Cloud Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure and ensuring the availability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based systems with a focus on Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). Our preferred candidate will be experienced in Agile and DevOps methodologies with a proven track record of successfully maintaining highly available and performant IT systems. This position can be located in either Renton, WA or Lewisville, TX at the PACCAR North TX (PNT) office. Job Functions/Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, with a focus on Azure cloud services. Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of various services, identifying and resolving potential issues through proactive monitoring and incident management. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment using tools such as GitHub and Azure DevOps. Collaborate with development teams to discuss system requirements, capacity plans, and system configurations and automate deployment and scaling of applications and services in the cloud. Implement and maintain monitoring solutions and dashboards for day-to-day operations using tools such as Grafana and Power BI. Write and maintain scripts for automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments. Enhance cloud security by applying best practices in areas such as access controls, encryption, and monitoring with tooling like SumoLogic and Wiz, collaborating with SecurityOps and other internal teams. Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides and ensure all systems comply with industry standards. Continuously update skills and knowledge in cloud and SRE practices, sharing knowledge and best practices with the team and across organization. Qualifications 3-5+ years of experience as a DevOps Cloud Engineer and with cloud infrastructure. Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Proficient in implementing with Infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation or Azure ARM/Bicep. Experience with microservices architecture, containers, and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and experience with version control systems. Knowledge of CI/C
