This role manages care for patients needing preventive care and chronic disease management as identified through the EMR within the Providence Clinical Network. Responsibilities include ordering lab tests or imaging exams for screenings, managing preventive care, and optimizing chronic disease treatments as guided by the PCN Clinical Council. This role ensures coordinated patient care, acting as a liaison between providers, primary care clinics, specialists, patients, and various departments and services within Providence St Joseph Health.
Providence welcomes 100% remote work for applicants who reside within a 25-50 mile radius of the following office location:
- Washington: Renton
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited school for medical assistants - OR- a combination of equivalent education and work experience
Upon Hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification
3+ years of experience as a medical assistant in a primary / specialty care setting
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in a Healthcare related field
Active National Medical Assistant Certification through a nationally recognized Medical Assistant program such as AAMA, AMT, RMA, CCMA or NCCT
EMR Systems experience
