Job title: Picker Packer
Location: Donaldson (1401 S Melville St, Rensselaer, IN, 47978)
Job Description:
Read customer orders to identify item(s) to be picked and their location code
Count the correct quantity of the correct item from the correct location
Enter appropriate information into computer systems to ensure correct inventory counts
Move inventory utilizing power industrial equipment
Keep the aisles and locations clean
Pack the product correctly
Locate pallets and product to the designated area for loading to take place
Hand load trailers
Employees Must:
Be comfortable working in a fast paced environment
Have the ability to stand and walk for 8 - 12 hours
Have the ability to lift 50lbs
Be comfortable using a computer and scanner
Be open to training on equipment such as: forklift, tugger, pallet jack
Environment: Temperature controlled distribution center
PPE: Personal steel or composite toe shoes preferred; shoe covers provided if needed
Full Time Openings:
2nd 2:00pm - 11:00pm (OT Starts on the Back End of the shift going until 1:00am) - $19.05
Employees are currently working 6 days a week averaging 50 - 60 hours a week.
Contract to Hire:
Employees will be an Aerotek employee for roughly 720 hours before becoming eligible for direct hire.
